Reading Across America Week
KCAO celebrates Reading Across America Week by inviting staff and community volunteers to come into the classroom and read to our preschool children. Thanks to all the staff and volunteers for coming in and reading.

The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) is a federal program administered by the USDA that helps supplement the diets of low-income Americans by providing them with emergency food assistance at no cost.

Day Care Homes Food Program
The KCAO Day Care Homes Food Program (DCH) helps young children develop healthy lifelong habits. Care providers active under the DCH program must ensure that meal patterns and food served meet USDA guidelines.

Sen. Melissa Hurtado presented the check on Friday in Hanford to the Kings Community Action Organization for Food Bank and Housing.
