KCAO Resource & Referral Program Specialist Lila Chavez recently had the opportunity to share her knowledge and expertise with Child Care professionals from across California at the 14th Annual California Child Care Resource & Referral Network and Thriving Families CA Foundation Statewide Joint Conference.

Kings Community Action Organization brought the community together on October 14th for a Candlelight Vigil and Resource Fair at the Hanford Storybook Garden in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Hosted by KCAO’s Barbara Saville Domestic Violence Shelter, the event provided an opportunity to honor victims and survivors of domestic violence, raise awareness, and connect residents with local support services.
