KCAO invites the community to take a stand against domestic violence at our upcoming Domestic Violence Walk and Resource Fair on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Civic Center Park in Hanford.
KCAO is now recruiting volunteers for the upcoming tax season. With just a little training, you can become a certified volunteer tax preparer or serve in other important roles such as client intake, translation, or appointment scheduling. No prior experience is required, we’ll provide everything you need to succeed.
Applications are still open for our Head Start programs for the Fall 2025 school year! If you're a parent of a child ages 0–5, now is the perfect time to secure a spot in one of our high-quality, no-cost, preschool programs across Kings County.

This year, we are proud to announce that a local partner, People’s Funeral Chapel, is stepping forward to host a food drive in honor of Hunger Action Month, with all donations supporting the KCAO Barbara Saville Shelter as well as Kings Gospel Missions Shelters.


The KCAO Domestic Violence Awareness Walk and Resource Fair was held at the Hanford Civic Park on Friday morning to help the public gain information on the causes and preventive measures that are available though the county's health and services offices.
