Kings Co. organization receives $1M for new food bank

KINGS COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – An organization in Kings County received a $1 million check to create a new food bank and assist the community.

Sen. Melissa Hurtado presented the check on Friday in Hanford to the Kings Community Action Organization for Food Bank and Housing. She says the efforts are in support of Central Valley families and to empower every child of a family that the organization serves -to give them an opportunity for a thriving future.
