Community Champion Campaign 2026 - Donate to the Barbara Saville Shelter
Help support individuals in need by donating to the KCAO Barbara Saville Shelter, Kings County’s only domestic violence and homeless shelter. Donations made from November 1 through December 31, 2026, will be matched up to a total of $10,000, thanks to the generous support of our Community Champion, James G. Parker Insurance Associates.

The KCAO Food Bank proudly serves communities throughout Kings County by providing nutritious food to a network of trusted partner agencies, food pantries, and public distribution sites.

Does KCAO accept clothing and toy donations?
KCAO appreciates and accepts all gently used donations. Donations can be dropped off at (IPSS office). Please have donations in bags or boxes. For questions, please call the (IPSS office).
Does KCAO give away turkeys for Thanksgiving?
KCAO does give out turkeys or hams during the holiday season based on availability. Please visit the TEFAP page for more information on distribution dates and times.
