On May 18, Head Start and Early Head Start celebrate their birthday. Celebrating 59 years of nurturing America's youth, Head Start programs continue to provide essential early learning, health, and family services to children from birth to age 5.

Day Care Homes Food Program
The KCAO Day Care Homes Food Program (DCH) helps young children develop healthy lifelong habits. Care providers active under the DCH program must ensure that meal patterns and food served meet USDA guidelines.
