April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

This week, we're highlighting an incredibly important issue – child abuse prevention. Here at KCAO, we really understand how crucial it is for all of us to work together to protect our kids and strengthen our communities in preventing child abuse.

Did you know that April is Child Abuse Prevention Month?

The hard truth is, child abuse and neglect are more common than many of us want to believe. Every year, over 600,000 children in the United States alone are affected. Understanding why these things happen can be tough, but it's clear they have a huge impact on a child's health, their chances in life, and their happiness.

Child abuse doesn't discriminate. It can happen in any community, to any child, no matter their background, culture, religion, or socioeconomic backgrounds.

At KCAO, raising awareness and fighting for the welfare of children and families is at the heart of what we do.

This month, we're inviting you to stand with us. Let's create hopeful futures together by ensuring all families have the support and resources they need. Let's make a difference together.
