KCAO to Host Earth Day Block Party in Hanford

Kings Community Action Organization is inviting the community to celebrate Earth Day at a special Earth Day Block Party on April 22 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the KCAO Home Garden Opportunity Center in Hanford.

This free, family friendly event will bring together community members, local organizations, and community partners for an afternoon focused on sustainability, wellness, and connection.

Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including a community resource fair, interactive nutrition education, and family friendly activities for all ages. The event will also feature a community garden clean up, giving participants an opportunity to get involved and make a positive impact locally.

The Earth Day Block Party is designed to connect families with valuable resources while promoting healthy living and environmental awareness. Community members will have the chance to learn about local programs, engage with service providers, and take part in hands on activities that support both personal and community well-being.

The event is free and open to the public. Families, individuals, and community partners are all encouraged to attend.

KCAO also welcomes organizations interested in participating as vendors. Booth space is free, and participating groups will have the opportunity to share resources and connect directly with the community.

The event will take place at 11593 South 10th Avenue, Hanford, CA 93230.

For more information or to get involved, please contact Danielle Collazo by phone at 559-582-4386 ext. 7213 or by email at Danielle.Collazo@kcao.org.
