KCAO Hosts World Cup Watch Party for Employees and Head Start Families

KCAO employees and Head Start families came together for a World Cup watch party sponsored by Edison International, creating a fun and family-friendly space to enjoy the excitement of the tournament as a community.

The event featured a showing of the first USA game, where the team faced Paraguay. Approximately 100 people attended, gathering to cheer on Team USA, enjoy food, connect with one another, and take part in the day’s activities.

Guests also had the opportunity to visit resource vendors, including Southern California Edison, Kings United Way, Fresno Regional Center, and Family Healthcare Network. These organizations shared helpful information and connected families with resources available in the community.

One of the highlights of the event was a free raffle, where 10 attendees went home with prizes, which included a 75-inch television, a Nintendo Switch 2, and other World Cup and summer fun-themed items.

The watch party was a great opportunity for employees, families, and community partners to come together in celebration. KCAO is grateful to Edison International and Southern California Edison for sponsoring the event and to all participating vendors for helping make the day enjoyable and meaningful for everyone in attendance.
