KCAO’s Monte Carlo Casino Night Raises Funds to Feed More Than 10,000 Families
More than 200 community members filled the Hanford Fraternal Hall on Nov. 7 for KCAO’s Monte Carlo Casino Night, raising funds that will support thousands of families through the KCAO Food Bank.
Held just weeks before the busy holiday season, the fundraiser generated enough revenue to provide food for over 10,000 families, based on estimates from Feeding America and the California Association of Food Banks. The funds will help supply essential groceries, produce, and holiday staples during one of the highest-need times of the year.
Guests enjoyed an evening of casino games, incredible prizes, a delicious dinner from Zaytoona, and themed entertainment from P.A.T.Y Dance Studio, all while supporting KCAO’s mission to fight hunger and serve Kings County families. The event brought together business partners, community supporters and local leaders who share a commitment to strengthening food access for residents.
This year's event stood out not only for its strong attendance but for the sense of purpose shared among attendees. Community members, partners, and supporters came together to help strengthen local food security, knowing their participation would directly benefit families facing hardship. The energy in the room reflected both celebration and compassion.
This year’s Monte Carlo Casino Night was made possible through the generous support of community sponsors, including Tachi Palace, One Digital, Leprino, Renewable Solar, P.A.T.Y. ‘Studio, Robinson’s Interiors, James G. Parker Insurance Associates, US Bank, EECU, Central Valley Print Solutions, Family Healthcare Network, Jasmin’s Flowers and Event Decor, Adventist Health, CalViva Health, Lemoore College and Kings Federal Credit Union. Their contributions helped elevate the event and play a direct role in supporting KCAO’s mission to reduce hunger across Kings County.
KCAO leadership expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support, noting that the success of the fundraiser underscores the community’s commitment to hunger prevention in Kings County. As the holidays approach and demand for the Food Bank increases, the contributions from the fundraiser will help ensure that more households have access to a reliable source of nutritious food. KCAO will continue expanding its efforts in the months ahead, uplifted by the strong community response demonstrated at this year’s fundraiser.
