Kings County celebrates completion of Sunrise Apartments

Kings County crowned an achievement in terms of homeless housing on Friday morning with the official opening of the Sunrise Apartments which will house up to 22 individuals struggling with homelessness. 

The Sunrise Apartments, once known as the Stardust Motel, was a joint application project between Kings County Human Services Agency and Kings Tulare Homeless Alliance. The project was funded partly by a Home Key Grant Award that allowed for the purchase and acquisition of the Stardust Motel.
