CalViva Health Donates $11,000 to KCAO’s Barbara Saville Shelter
Kings Community Action Organization is grateful to CalViva Health for its generous $11,000 donation in support of KCAO’s Barbara Saville Shelter.
On Tuesday, May 26, CalViva Health CEO Jeffrey Nkansah and Director of Community Relations and Marketing Courtney Shapiro joined KCAO senior staff members at one of our food distributions hosted by First United Methodist Church in Hanford. During the visit, they helped with the distribution, connected with community members, and learned more about KCAO’s food programs, the upcoming Food Bank Service Center, and the future 200-bed shelter project.
The visit also included the presentation of CalViva Health’s donation check, which will help support the Barbara Saville Shelter and KCAO’s ongoing efforts to serve individuals and families in Kings County.
CalViva Health has been an outstanding partner to KCAO over the years, supporting programs and services that help meet critical needs throughout the community. Their continued partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving health, stability, and access to resources for local residents.
KCAO is thankful for CalViva’s generosity and continued support. Partnerships like this help strengthen the work being done every day to serve Kings County residents with dignity, compassion, and care.
