Nothing Bundt Cakes Partners with KCAO During Hanford Grand Opening

Nothing Bundt Cakes recently opened a new location in Hanford and chose to celebrate its Grand Opening Week by giving back to the community through a fundraiser benefiting KCAO’s Barbara Saville Shelter.

As part of the celebration, Nothing Bundt Cakes in Hanford donated 20% of all sales on Thursday, July 30, to KCAO. Every purchase helped support KCAO’s continued work providing programs and services throughout Kings County.

For Hanford’s Nothing Bundt Cakes General Manager Maricruz Perez, partnering with KCAO was an important way to show appreciation for the community welcoming the new business.

“We wanted to give to the community we are opening in, especially because it's the community that is giving to us and allowing us to be open and create jobs,” Perez said. “We picked KCAO's Barbara Saville Shelter for the Hanford location’s first fundraiser because it is an important and valuable resource in the community and we wanted to help build awareness and support.”

Throughout Grand Opening Week, Nothing Bundt Cakes also offered special promotions for local community members. Military members and first responders were able to buy one Bundtlet and receive one free on Monday and Tuesday, July 27–28, while teachers and school staff were able to enjoy the same promotion Monday through Friday, July 27–31.

The celebration concludes with a Family Fun Ribbon Cutting on Saturday, August 1, featuring a balloon artist, photo booth, prize wheel, and a Free Bundtlet for a Year Punch Card for the first 50 guests.

KCAO is grateful to Nothing Bundt Cakes Hanford for choosing to support the Barbara Saville Shelter during its first local fundraiser.
