Kings County Job Fair Connects Hundreds of Job Seekers with Local Employers
The annual Kings County Job Fair brought hundreds of job seekers and dozens of employers together for a day focused on career opportunities, workforce development, and community connection.
The event took place on Thursday, September 10, and was hosted by the Kings County Job Training Office in partnership with KCAO, Proteus, and Owens Valley Career Development Center. This year’s job fair featured 42 registered employers representing a variety of industries and career paths.
A total of 576 job seekers attended the event, marking a 35 percent increase from the previous year’s job fair. The strong turnout reflected the continued need for employment resources and the importance of connecting local residents directly with employers who are hiring.
Throughout the event, job seekers had the opportunity to meet with employers, learn about available positions, ask questions, and explore potential career opportunities. Employers were also able to connect with a wide range of candidates from across Kings County.
As an annual event, the Kings County Job Fair continues to serve as an important resource for both job seekers and employers. By bringing workforce partners together, the event helps strengthen the local job market and supports individuals working toward employment, stability, and self-sufficiency.
KCAO is proud to partner with the Kings County Job Training Office, Proteus, and Owens Valley Career Development Center to support opportunities that help residents take the next step in their career journey.
