CVIIC to Host Immigration Workshop at KCAO Auditorium for Fourth Year

The Central Valley Immigrant Integration Collaborative, also known as CVIIC, will host an immigration workshop at the KCAO Auditorium on Thursday, May 14th, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

This will be the fourth year in a row CVIIC has hosted its Kings County workshop at KCAO, continuing a partnership focused on connecting immigrant families with trusted legal information, resources, and support.

During the workshop, community members will be able to receive assistance with citizenship applications, DACA renewals, and legal permanent resident card renewals. Free consultations will also be available with immigration attorneys or accredited representatives. In addition, attendees can receive information on Know Your Rights resources and Red Cards.

Services will be offered by appointment or walk-in. To schedule an appointment, community members can call (559)666-6436 or (559)666-6446.

CVIIC works throughout the Central Valley to empower immigrant families and the organizations that serve them. Through partnerships with nonprofit immigration legal service agencies and pro bono attorneys, CVIIC helps increase access to legal assistance in both rural and urban communities.

The organization also supports immigrant families through programs that promote civic participation, economic opportunity, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and access to health-related resources.

By hosting this workshop in Kings County, CVIIC and KCAO are helping ensure local families have access to important immigration services close to home. The event reflects a shared commitment to inclusiveness, public service, and connecting community members with the information they need to make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
