For more than four decades, the KCAO Food Bank has served as a trusted cornerstone of hunger relief in Kings County. As food insecurity continues to impact thousands of local families—including children, seniors, veterans, and working households—we remain steadfast in our mission to ensure that no one in our community faces hunger alone.

Each year, we distribute more than 2.5 million pounds of nutritious food, reaching tens of thousands of residents through public food distributions, pantry programs, and a strong network of community partners. In 2025 alone, we provided over 2.3 million pounds of food, serving 93,342 families and 197,659 individuals across Kings County. These numbers reflect more than meals—they represent stability for a parent, relief for a senior on a fixed income, and hope for a child who needs nourishment to thrive.

Our impact extends through partnerships with organizations such as the Episcopal Church of the Saviour and Soup Kitchen, Champions Recovery Alternative Programs, and the KCAO Barbara Saville Shelter, ensuring vulnerable populations—including individuals in recovery and those seeking safe shelter—receive consistent, healthy meals. We also operate pantry and distribution sites throughout the county, including Lemoore College, where we host both a campus pantry and a community food distribution, as well as sites in Kettleman City, Stratford, Corcoran, and Avenal—bringing food directly to the neighborhoods that need it most.
