Legal and Program Advocates are available to support the needs of Domestic Violence Survivors. Domestic Violence involves physical, sexual, economic, and emotional abuse from an intimate partner.

We can provide support with:

  • Emergency shelter services

  • Counseling

  • Legal assistance to file Temporary Restraining Order

    • Minors 12 years old or older can file a restraining order without parent or guardian assistance.

  • Court Accompaniment

  • Peer to peer support

  • Teen dating violence

    • Scratching, biting, grabbing
    • Shoving & pushing
    • Throwing objects
    • Hurting or threatening to hurt your children and/or pets
    • Strangling, burning, attacking

  • Economic/Financial

    • Sabotaging employment
    • Forbidding victim to work or attend school
    • Denying access to a vehicle
    • Withholding money
    • Running up debt

  • Emotional/Psychological

    • Name calling, mocking
    • Preventing you to see family/friends
    • Manipulating your children
    • Cheating or being overly jealous
    • Monitoring your phone calls, text, car & computer use

  • Stalking & Harassment

    • Making unwanted visits
    • Sending unwanted messages
    • Following you, installing GPS tracking software
    • Refusing to leave
    • Checking up on you constantly
