Food and Nutrition
Summer Food Services Program (SFSP)
SFSP provides children (at or below the age of 18) of low-income families nutritious meals during the summer months - typically from June to August, in which breakfast and lunch are the most common meals served.
The meals are at no cost to participants and must meet federal nutrition guidelines. Guidelines require that appropriate servings of milk, meat, fruit, vegetables, and grain are included in each meal served.
If you would like to receive more information about the program, please call the Summer Food Services Program at (559) 583-8071.
