KCAO’s Annual Community Champion Campaign

Each year, from November 1 through December 31, KCAO invites the community to come together for its Community Champion Campaign, a special initiative that doubles the impact of every donation made during the holiday season.

Through this campaign, a local business steps forward as KCAO’s Community Champion, pledging to match all donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $7,000. The result is a powerful opportunity for community members to maximize their generosity while supporting some of Kings County’s most vulnerable residents.

KCAO is proud to have James G. Parker Insurance Associates as this year’s Community Champion. Their generous commitment means that every dollar donated during the campaign period will be matched, doubling the support provided to those in need.

All funds raised through this year’s campaign will directly benefit KCAO’s Barbara Saville Domestic Violence Shelter, which provides emergency housing, advocacy, and supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and their children. The Community Champion Campaign helps ensure the Barbara Saville Shelter has the resources needed to provide safety, stability, and hope when it’s needed most.
