Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA)

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $60,000 or less, persons with disabilities, elderly and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals.

The following returns will not be completed this year.

  • No Self-Employment income (Forms, 1099-K, cash, digital assets, or other property or services).

  • No cash/check/digital assets, or other property or services for any work performed not reported on Forms W-2, or 1099-DIV.

  • No income (or loss) from rental property or Sch K-1, and royalties.

Application Process
