How to Give

KCAO actively seeks the support of the community through financial donations, donations of new and used items and volunteerism. All of the programs established by KCAO can utilize donations to maintain critical services, expand and develop new services and provide direct assistance to families and individuals who are striving to reach self-sufficiency. With the support of community members, local businesses and private foundations, together we can help make Kings County a better place.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR CONTRIBUTION

  • KCAO operates an overhead rate of 8% -this means that for every $1 that is donated to KCAO, $.92 goes directly to the delivery of services (shelter, food, youth mentoring, health services).
  • Most donations to KCAO are tax deductible
  • Donations can be specifically designated for programs, services, and/or communities
