Food Assistance

CHILD CARE FOOD PROGRAM

This program was created to ensure that children in child care homes receive nutritious, well-balanced meals and are encouraged to develop healthy eating habits. The program is funded by the United States Department of Agriculture and I administered by the California Department of Education. KCAO is a sponsor as well as working directly with the child care providers. KCAO Child Care Food Program trains new providers in all of the regulations and explains how to fill out the forms that are submitted monthly for reimbursement.
